My First Golf Post

This will be my first ever golf post and maybe my last. Anyways, people ask me lots of questions about golf equipment and why I use this club or that club. It is most comely asked after I hit a drive and people hear what sounds like a minor league baseball game. So in these next few posts I am going to go through my entire set and explain why I use each club and why they are the way they are.

Driver

I had more trouble picking this club than any other club in my bag. The store I got it from let me try it out for a few weeks and in a few tournaments. Then even after that I wasn't quick buy. It is just difficult to buy a club that says Nakashima on it. I often joke around when people ask me where I got it by telling them that I few to Japan to get fitted for it. My final decision was dependent upon a few hours on the TrackMan. My output numbers was far above any other driver on the market (at least my old driver(Ping G2 10.5 Adlida Proto 75s) and any they had in the store). I increased my ball speed by 2-3 mph which equates to 5-10 more yards off the tee. The ball flight was also much flatter so I didn't loose much energy. The spin rate was also reduced 500-800 rpms (2800 with my G2 to 2300 with the Nakashima).

One of the coolest features of the driver is the fact that I can remove the shaft and install a new one on the fly. It has a screw in shaft so I can change them whenever I want to, except for during a competitive round!

I have 3 shafts currently. The original shaft I got with it is a Matrix Studio 84 (86g). The extra weight helps me keep the ball flight low. The flex is stiff. The second shaft, and the cheapest of the 3, is a Rifle Graphite 49" shaft. I just got this shaft for kicks and giggles. Obviously 49" is too long for competive play but at $10 it is worth the fun. The most recent shaft I purchased for my Nakashima is the Graffaloy Epic Nano Fuse 75x. It is also only 44" long. I need to take it and hit it on the TrackMan to see what kind of numbers I get before permanently using it. I have already noticed a flatter ball flight but I am not sure if it is too flat.

I highly recommend going to GolfEtc at the Northlake Mall Commons and trying out a Nakashima driver.

I have two quick questions

If faith is a belief in something you can't prove then what is a LACK of faith and how does one GROW in faith?

Christians for Ron Paul

I get more and more convinced that the only option for a confessing Christian is Ron Paul.

Ron Paul Revolution and the mainline GOP

This is the commercial from last night. It was probably the best part of the debate. It was as if the entire night was a bunch of kids arguing over who has the strongest daddy. Most of them need to grow up and learn how to argue. If they had a real debate scorecard last night most of them would have choked due to massive intakes of red herrings, straw men, and just general avoidance of questions. Although some of the questions were loaded but you NEED to point that out and then answer what the question implies. It is really not that hard. The worst part of the night was all of the stolen Ron Paul lingo and positions. This took the pizazz aways from Ron Paul which made him not seem as strong. I guess this revolution is hitting the hearts of the GOP elite!

I am still unconvinced that Ron Paul can't win. Rudy and Mitt are falling in the Polls and Ron Paul is slowly rising. Plus Ron Paul supports are more likely to show up and vote... it is just basic math that will raise Paul to the top.
